Category: Fund Raiser

As you may know every year Home Instead – Melbourne ‘adopts’ a well-deserving low-income senior facility for the Holiday season. Through our Be A Santa To A Senior program we provide much-needed gifts for the senior residents and bring joy and comfort to their Holiday Season.
This year Home Instead has adopted ‘Trinity Towers’ in Brevard County. With 225 residents, Trinity Towers provides comfortable, affordable housing for seniors in our community.
Our Be A Santa To A Senior program is very simple – we ask all the individual residents to make a wish list. We then write their wishes on paper ornaments that go on various Holidays wreaths and trees throughout the community. Members of the public choose an ornament (or two, or three!!) and provide the gifts described unwrapped to the Home Instead collection point or our Home Instead office on Sarno Road.
The deadline for receipt of gifts is December 10th - We will have a wonderful gift-giving ceremony with all the residents at Trinity Towers on December 15th

WE NEED YOUR HELP…!!
We have a Holiday Tree or wreath at our office on Sarno road, at Meehan's Office Supply in downtown Melbourne, at Southern Sisters Café on Sarno Road and at 905 Café in Melbourne – next time you visit please take a look and see if there is an ornament for a gift item you could possibly donate to a senior. Many of the seniors have asked for small items such as toilet paper, air freshener, a sweater or socks – small inexpensive items. We would love if you could donate something to the cause.
THANK YOU SO MUCH – WE REALLY APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO FOR SENIORS IN OUR COMMUNITY..!!
