Job Description:

The Business Development/Account Manager is responsible for prospecting new clients by networking, cold calling, building community relationships, identifying partnership opportunities, or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must negotiate business deals and manage client accounts. They are required to grow and maintain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. The Business Development/Account Manager must be willing to travel throughout Brevard County and work from a home office.

Essential Job Duties:
Business Development
•Prospect for potential new clients while maintaining EverythingBrevard.com's positive image in the community.
•Cold call as appropriate.
•Attend networking events in the community to grow and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
•Retain data, including email, phone, and contact person for future prospecting using an Excel spreadsheet.
•Research businesses and build relationships with local business owners (or decision makers).
•Set up meetings with business decision makers to discuss how we can help their business grow.
•Upsell banners, newsletter ads, printing, and graphic design.
•Negotiate contract and communicate with team members building the page.
•Offer Toolbox training opportunities to client.

Account Management
•Maintain an open communication line between you and all of your clients.
•Follow up regularly with clients by phone, email, and in person.
•Offer to post client coupons, promotions, events, and job listings.
•Offer Toolbox training opportunities to client.
•Review client statistics and share with client.
•Offer solutions to increase the page statistics.
•Maintain client relationship to ensure contract renewal.

Minimum Qualifications
•Experienced in sales, business development, marketing, or account management.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills in face-to-face, telephone, and internet communications.
•Good analytical skills with ability to find creative solutions.
•Excellent computer skills with ability to learn new applications.
•Extremely organized with the ability to work several accounts at a time.
