The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitors Bureau is designed to promote the city of Cocoa Beach and the surrounding towns of Brevard County as a destination to visit in Florida. They have a major focus on convention sales, tourism marketing and services.
The CVB promotes the economic development of Cocoa Beach by increasing visits from tourists and business travelers which generates revenue from overnight lodging, visits to restaurants, local attractions and shopping.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau is the resource for the tourism industry that is so vital to our community. Members also travel throughout the state and nation, promoting the Space Coast to travel professionals, meeting and convention planners, and the general public.
It also operates a visitor center in the central Brevard County area, as well as fulfilling almost 60,000 requests annually for visitor/relocation information.
The CVB also hosts quarterly "Morning Mingles" and "Power Lunches" for members and prospective members. Membership is open to all Partners.
The annual Chowder Cook-Off with a Twist is a community event that is held in Port Canaveral each February and hosted by the CVB. Attendees can sample chowder and other appetizer type foods provided by local restaurateurs and then vote on their favorite. You can also enjoy live music, cash bars, a large silent auction and visit with many local vendors from the area. The proceeds from this event support the CVB's marketing budget to drive tourism in Brevard County.
